ModelYard orders ship from China. Delivery time, duties, taxes, tracking availability, and carrier handoff may vary by destination.
Order processing
We review each order before dispatch to confirm payment, stock, recipient details, and shipping availability.
- Typical processing time: 2 to 5 business days after payment confirmation.
- Possible delays: weekends, public holidays, address issues, fraud checks, customs documentation, supplier delays, or force majeure events.
- Dispatch notice: tracking information is provided once the carrier makes it available.
Delivery and tracking
International delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Tracking may pause while a package is in customs or between carrier handoffs.
- Shipping origin: China.
- Delivery partners: international and local carriers selected based on destination, product size, and available service.
- Common causes of delay: customs inspection, weather, local holidays, remote-area routing, incomplete recipient information, or local carrier capacity.
Duties, taxes, and local fees
Destination-country charges are handled according to local rules.
- Not included unless shown at checkout: import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, customs charges, remote-area fees, or local delivery fees.
- Buyer responsibility: customers are responsible for applicable destination-country charges.
- Refused packages: unpaid duties, taxes, or local fees may cause a package to be delayed, returned, or disposed of by the carrier.
Address changes and shipment issues
Contact us as soon as possible if you notice an address issue or delivery problem.
- Address changes: after carrier handoff, changes may be unavailable or may create extra fees.
- Lost, damaged, refused, or returned shipments: email support@modelyard.cc with the order number, tracking number, photos where relevant, and a short description.
- Review process: we review carrier records and provide the next available resolution based on shipment status.
