Forge 66
Same 7,000 lm as Forge 65, and it throws farther.
Forge 66 is a fully assembled, hand-built high-output flashlight with active cooling, a wide flood beam, and long-throw reach up to 870 meters. It is built around a constant 65W / 7,000 lm high-output mode, approximately 190,000 cd beam intensity, and 45W Type-C charge and discharge support.
- 65W / 7,000 lm mode: constant output with active cooling
- Beam: wide flood plus long throw up to 870 meters
- Beam intensity: approximately 190,000 cd
- USB-C power: 45W charge and discharge
- Full charge: about 1 hour
- Runtime: about 24 minutes at 65W, 54 minutes at 30W, and 8 hours at 3W
- Housing: PETG-FG 3D-printed shell set
- Thermal stack: 30 × 30 × 50 mm heatsink with a 3010 cooling fan
- Optics: 50 mm lens with a 5500K LED setup
Battery options
With Battery: Includes one matched two-cell 21700 pack, ready to plug in.
Without Battery: No battery pack is included. Forge 66 requires two matched high-discharge 21700 lithium-ion cells configured as a 2S pack (7.2-7.4V nominal / 8.4V fully charged) with a compatible 2S protection board. Use cells with sufficient discharge capability for 65W operation. The pack connects through an XT30 lead; loose cells cannot be dropped in.
Forge 66 ships fully assembled.

Forge 66 FAQ
Clear answers about batteries, 45W Type-C power, runtime, and the actively cooled 65W output mode. Choose Your Forge 66Are batteries included?
Choose With Battery for a ready-to-use light: it includes one matched two-cell 21700 pack, ready to plug in. Without Battery includes no pack. You supply your own 2S pack of two matched high-discharge 21700 cells (7.2-7.4V nominal / 8.4V fully charged) with a compatible 2S protection board and an XT30 lead. Loose cells cannot be dropped in.
How does it handle heat at 65W / 7000 lm?
The 65W mode uses a dedicated 30x30x50mm heatsink and a 3010 fan to sustain output without step-down under normal use while keeping the handle comfortable to hold.
Can it charge over USB-C?
Yes. Forge 66 supports 45W Type-C charging and discharging, with about one hour required for a full charge.
Build sheet
Forge 66 verified specifications.
| System | Specification | Value | Build note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light output | Peak mode | 65W / 7000 lm | Constant high-output mode with no planned step-down under normal use. |
| Beam intensity | Peak intensity | About 190,000 cd | Combines a broad flood beam with focused long-range output. |
| Runtime | Output ladder | 24 min / 54 min / 8 h | Runtime targets correspond to 65W, 30W, and 3W modes. |
| USB-C power | Charge / discharge | 45W Type-C | Designed for roughly one hour from empty to full charge. |
| Main PCB | Power management | 1.0mm PCB / IP2369 | The charge and discharge IC belongs to the main-board area. |
| LED PCB | Emitter carrier | 1.6mm PCB | The LED-board thickness is listed separately from the main board. |
| Thermal stack | Head hardware | 30x30x50mm heatsink / 3010 fan | The lamp-head assembly includes cooling hardware beyond the PCB. |
| Battery bay | Cell format | 2S power 21700 pack | Compatible with JP40, 40PL, or 45D-class power cells. |
| Housing | 3D-printed shell | PETG-FG | The printed housing and main structural shell use PETG-FG material. |
| Protection | Battery safety | 2S 13A board | Recommended for the standard 65W configuration. |
